Sometimes it pays to break with tradition. When Wyndi and Eli Tagi set up WE Accounting & Business Services three years ago they figured the traditional accounting firm practice of charging clients a single, annual fee wouldn’t provide the cashflow they needed to keep their small business afloat.
Instead they decided to agree on fixed annual costs for their services with clients, and then break those down into monthly payments.
“We decided that this was a win-win situation,” says practice manager Wyndi Tagi, “because the client wouldn’t need to find a lump sum at the end of the financial year and we could have regular monthly payments coming into our account.”
